Grasshopper on Dahlia.

Late, late, late in the summer inside the Montreal Botanical Garden, Dahlias are in bloom and attract all sorts of insects. I was surprised to find this Grass Hopper half concealed in the middle of the petals. It must be feeding on the small parasites inside the flower. Sony A7R II, Sigma 70mm macro, f/2.8, 1/640 sec, ISO 400.
