this is a great shot and it shows the hunter and the hunted truly encased in the camouflage of their environment. Well done

Sometimes a photo is hard to figure out initially, Yves. I've taken a number of them myself. The surroundings and colours make it hard to find the subject but when the eye finally settles on the subject it all makes sense. I like the grasses surrounding the Bittern and the colours in the bird. The photo tells a great story.

Thanks Heather. Sory, the laughing crowd part of the story never existed., It was added by the writer in me. I was the only one there at the moment. I tried to be as invisible as possible behind some bushes and lowering my body. I first noticed some strange moves in the tall grasses. He played hide and seak for few minutes He finaly got out of the grasses so I could take some nice shots. But it is a fact that he had a hard time to eat the fish. I would say he never could.
