I’m with Heather on this one Yves, hoping the duck got away safely. You did a fabulous job composing and timing the shot. I love the colours and the ripples and reflections in the water. the focus is perfect and storyline great.
Thanks Debra. I know you both now, so I will take care not to show the drama. Stay tune for the continuation on next sunday morning. That dog is just a terrific actor.
I always take it as a gift when mother nature present a moment like that to me. The story start with two dogs riding on the opposite river bank and the owner (on the same side as me) calling the dogs back to him. One did stop and got back to the owner. The other just could not resist and decided to chase the duck. On that image he looks very confident to catch the duck.
Thank you very much Aaron. It is a team effort. Mother Nature setup the scene and I am responsible to do a good shooting.
An interesting and very unusual action shot, Yves. You captured the ripples and reflections so beautifully here and the focus on the two subjects is spot on. I'm just hoping the duck got away in time :)
Everyting was perfect for that shot Heather. Nice wake, nice color reflection and the color of that kind of dog. Of course I composed the right distance between the subjects. The delightful face of the dog is someting too. Two more shots are coming at the story, next sunday then next wednesday..
