Thank you Jeff! I appreciate your comment a lot.. they're beautiful animals and it's always a pleasure to see them and get a photo of two.
Nice that you were able to get the shot Heather. I love how you have their attention. Both you and the deer are probably glad that they are safely back in the field. The deer do stand out nicely on the field. The rows give the image a lot of depth, nicely captured.
Thank you Debra! It was so sudden when they bounded across in front of my car and I came to a screeching halt but they're great jumpers and made it across safely, thank goodness. I think they were a little upset judging by the way they were looking at me and so was I after such a close call.
The deer stand out nicely, Heather, in this field of green. I'm sure these deer can hear me typing from where they are with those ears. A good exposure in the bright light.
Thank you Harold! No kidding, lol. And I'm sure when they heard my camera clicking away it was then that they decided to make a hasty exit. We have white-tailed deer in this region too but they seem to stay in the bush whereas the mulies like to hang out in farmers fields.
Great shot Heather. You captured a very nice pose of those two deers. The simplicity of the background make them stands out real good (even with the harsh sun). You very well caught their curiosity. The doe looks funy with its slim head and huge hears. Line up of the plants in the background field is interesting. It was a lucky day.
Thank you Yves! They have huge ears and it's probably their greatest feature in a way, making them easy to identify. I love that they stopped and checked me out for a good minute or so and then bounded off as if there was something to be afraid of. Guess it was the sound of the camera.
