Very pretty capture Heather. The sparrow does appear to be very interested in life around him. I love the tones and soft background and the curiosity of the sparrow.

Beautyful shot at the little sparrow Heather. There are so many different kind of sparrow and it is always a pleasure to shoot them. Like very much the fainted branches in the background and the dryed one in the foreground is just perfect to frame the bird. Nice capture.

Thank you so much, Yves. I love getting shots like this through the branches in the morning light, especially when there's a beautiful little bird waiting for me :) These old pine trees make great bird perches and photograph very nicely too..

Thank you Harold, much appreciated. This is one of my favorite sparrows, they have an interesting buzzing song which is kind of catchy and very pleasant to listen to.

Great focus, Heather! It's the first time I've seen this sparrow. I like the light coming through the beak. It pulls the eye straight to it. Well framed by the branches!
