Jane LeBlanc

Nice, Jenny. I had to put my feeder where they couldn't drop down from above. Saves a lot on feed!

Thanks so much Jane. I never learn.... empty again today after two hours. Four black, one grey and two chippies !!!!

Nice demo of these litlle pest. They did challenge me a lot few years ago, and I solved the problem with the greased pole too (wich will also discourage raccoon and night eaters). But the pole must not be accessible from the top. I saw those squirrells do many beautyful tricks to reach the feeder. They are very talented.

Thank you so much Yves...

Debra Plett

Cute shot Jenny, we’re there is a will there is a way. I think they are starting to stash away for winter already.

Jenny Stevens

Hi Debra: Yes... they certainly find 'the way'. Thank you.

Harold Fleming

Cool shot, Jenny, and almost laughable if you weren't trying to keep them off your feeder. They can be awful pests in the garden at times and there's no end to there ingenuity. They were certainly given the right tools for the job.

Jenny Stevens

Thank you Harold. Yes, it is funny when you look at it. I go through a lot of seed though !!!

Description
I greased the pole to the feeder but it looks as if I will have to grease the top as well!! These fellows dropped with great grace from the trees. Amazing
