A beautiful floral.. the colors are luscious, the detail is crisp and well photographed. The bee adds the perfect focal point in what had to be a bit of a challenging photo to capture, considering the height of the flowers. Well done, Yves.

Thank you Heather. First, I like shooting the tiny objects because I see the beauty that is not visible. Second, The carpet was already joyful, I just wait a little to add up the bee. You'r right, this is one of those shot that I struggle with the limits of the 70-400. I would have like better an F14 or F17 to have more flower detailed. but it was slightly cloudy. I would have like the shot straight over the carpet but I am only 5.6 feet tall and the minimum distance for focussing is 7 feets, so I had to accept a little angle. I could have push the ISO from 200 to 400 or 800 but I did not realise that in the moment because the bee never stay long on something. and I don't have the reflex to check the parameters yet.

Wonderful colour and focus Yves. The soft pink flowers dispersed over the bring green leaves showcase the bee in the image. Nicely captured.

Yves Langlois

Thank you Debra. Agree with you, the overall picture is colorful and the bee is sharp focus.
