Hi Debra!. I guess you are in vacation. Thank you for sharing some of your moments. The smug is evident. Like the story that goes along with the photo. Hope you wont spend a week there.

Hi Yves thanks very much for your interest and comments always look forward to them. Yes we were away on a work vacation for five days, back at home now. The cottage is on an island with no hydro power or internet connections. Quite remote and would not be easy to upload images from there. I would have to tether my iPad to my iphone and that connection is even a little sketchy. We have a couple of work vacations planned with my brother this summer hoping to take a lot more pictures next time. Thanks again Yves.

An interesting and very serene looking view of the shoreline. The Inukshuk and orange tiger lilies [I'm assuming] add a beautiful point of interest to this beautiful capture, Debra. It looks like a wonderful place to visit, too.

Thanks Heather your interest and comments are always appreciated. You are correct the flowers are tiger lilies. As a child I use to go camping on the lake and in 1972 my father purchased a small cottage on an island. The shore has a beautiful sand beach which seems to go forever. Very quiet place and no worries about social distancing. Thanks again.

Description
We were out at Dogtooth Lake just east of Kenora Ontario assisting with the rebuild of a dock and the air quality became very poor through out the morning and into the evening from forest fires burning in north western Ontario. The Inukshuk in the picture has been standing for about 20 years now. Amazing that the ice has not toppled the Inukshuk as it has played havoc on the dock year after year. Water levels are extremely low in the past the Inukshuk's toes would be getting wet.
