That was a hard one to git good detaling

Yves Langlois

Thanks Jeff.

Debra Plett

One of those shots that tears at the heartstrings. The image does portray how it can be a struggle to get a strong start in life. Nicely captured Yves.

Yves Langlois

Thank you Debra. I still love nature and comprehend this way of life she rule the planet by. But sometime, some visions are more disturbing. Then I rely on my own explanations on the subject.

Jane LeBlanc

Nice shot, Yves. Glad you didn't disturb them, and hope the little one makes it.

Yves Langlois

Thank you for the nice words Jane. Next time I see them I will tell the little one that everybody is encouraging him.

Heather Mellon

An excellent close-up of the chicks in the nest, Yves, wonderful detail here and it shows their situation very clearly. I sure hope the third chick makes it too.. life is quite a challenge for some of these little ones right from day one and in so many ways.

Yves Langlois

Thank you very much for your kind words Heather. It is an uplifting chalenge to follow them up to their leaving. May be Mother Nature will make it a nice surprice. I understand why it is that way here on the planet, but my heart just don't accept living by that rule. It is hard to say that life matter.

Harold Fleming

Good shot, Yves! It's always sad when they lose one but that is nature. Some though manage to get enough strength to push to the front of the line now and then.

Yves Langlois

Thanks Harold. Nature has its laws and I respect that. My belief is the third one will go through, agains all odds. No matter the end result, I rely on my beliefs and I am real fine with it.

Description
I finaly had a chance for clear shots on the three chicks. As nature sets it : two are healty and yelling hungry, the third one may not make it through the season. The mother was in a tree nearby with a mouthful of dragonfly. She was waiting. I would have like a shot with her feeding the chicks, but she did not cooperate.
