Jeff

I like that one I see you found you panes funny the antler is coming of grat shot

Debra Plett

Can’t help but feel for him, but this is a very cute image. Agree with Heather about taking a round out of the guy with the pants. Nice story and image.

Heather Mellon

Very intriguing image, Harold. It almost looks like the deer took a round out of the guy in the blue jeans. Nice timing on this one!

I would say that this guy's better half ran away, Heather, but; Well, you know.

Yves Langlois

Cute shot Harold. I recognise the pants, and the friendly buck. Seem that experience is hard to get. He doesn't seem to suffer too much. The ego may be. Next year he will remember to let the new antler harden before putting them to the test. He is stil young, he will have another chance.

Harold Fleming

It is the same buck, Yves. I can tell by a mole under the right eye so he's learned a valuable lesson which may make him a stronger buck in the future.

Jane LeBlanc

Cool shot and story, Harold. Love the pants!

Harold Fleming

Thanks, Jane! He didn't want to wear a suit.

Description
It's not the first time I've seen a deer's antler broken off and hanging in its face. This often happens when bucks with their new antlers are jousting to practice for the real thing during the rut. It usually doesn't affect them much as the antler will fall off before it normally would.
