This landscape and the way you have captured the light is very up-lifting. One could promote this photograph with a positive inspirational quote. Beautiful capture Yves.

Thank you Debra. Nature grant me with those inspiring moments quite often in a season.

what a great shot. This looks like an awesome trail and the trees and the light you were able to capture in this image are outstanding

Yves Langlois

It sure gives a boost to start a 2 hours walk with a scene like that. Thank you Clifford.

You have a beautiful walking trail and it's interesting see where a fellow photographer gets some of his photos from. I like how you captured the sunlight on the trail as it winds its way beneath the tall trees. It looks very serene and full of wonderful photo opportunities.. and you've captured that perfectly here, Yves!

Yves Langlois

Thank you Heather. I happen to be in touch with that specific vision only two or three times a summer. There is something in that vision that boost me up, I always stop for a moment and feel the serene joy all around me. The full trail is complex with different sections, each one allowing a specific kind of photo. This section is mainly for waterfowl birds. There is an open section with lots of flowers where a do the insects and butterfly shots. There is also a little bush for small birds and the bridge section allowing for deep view on the river. It is my place for birds in flight or deep perspective landscape.

Great lighting, Yves! I like the look of the trees in this photo. The bright light in the foreground and centre shining on some trees make them look somewhat like they have no bark which is a strange look for standing trees. The spruce trees, I believe, through the centre and background show more texture from the bark. A very nice trail indeed!

Yves Langlois

Thank you Harold. I would say most of the trees are spruce and they don't have much texture even without light. Of course I did the shot for the lighting effect. Walking a trail like that puts me in a very groovy mood.

Description
Here is a section of my Drummond dam trail lighted by the morning sun. The Magog river flows just beside on the right.
