You capture a nice documentary shot Debra. The shot is well done and clear. Crows are very intelligent and like to play. This is the perfect shot for the explanation you gave. Hope you had fun too, watching them.

Debra Plett

One of those moments that you probably won’t happen upon again and yes it was a lot of fun to watch. Thanks for feedback Yves.

Well displayed across the photo with another object for each of them, Debra. It looks like Mom is doing the teaching here and Dad is staying out of it for now. There's a nice story being told here.

Heather Mellon

A very interesting view of this crow family teaching their young to fly. I love the composition and activity you've captured here, Debra. It's a wonderful example of how these birds bring up their young and not a sight we get to see very often either. Well seen and captured!

Debra Plett

You are correct Heather, this was the first time to witness this activity and the chance of seeing it again are one in a million. Very happy I was in the right place at the right time. Thank you Heather.

Description
Came across this family of Crows yesterday in Birds Hill Park. It reminded me of playing leap frog. The parents were teaching the juveniles how to fly while playing leap frog across the field on the row of boulders. They little ones would stop to be fed by mom and then move on to the next boulder. Dad was pulling up the rear in this shot. Pretty cute to watch.
