Thank you Debra! Me too! I heard a nest on Opeongo thta appears to be well known has washed away from the heavy rains last weekend and was seen by a few people, th epoor loon was rebuilding her nest yet again. One would think the loon would move to a different area.

Description
Covid has not only altered our lives but all the lives of wildlife! While the parks were closed off for lockdown, Wildlife were busy making nests and having babies! This poor loon decided to make their nest on the side of and island of a busy campground in Algonquin Park. As I kayaked by , I could see the tension as she pur her head down to the ground in protection mode. I feel so bad and concerned for her babies as i see so many kids and families around her area! In the solitude of lockdown and no people about, she felt safe in her choice of build the nest. Then they opened the flood gates of people hell! I hope they sre safe and her babies hatch.
