Heather Mellon

We seldom get to see deer in a scenario like this so I really appreciate this image. Beautiful tones and detail and that expression on his face says it all. Very well captured.

Harold Fleming

I truly appreciated being their to take the shot, Heather. Thank you very much!

Jane LeBlanc

Don't you think it also speaks to how accustomed they are to people?

Harold Fleming

Absolutely, Jane! Certainly there are a few that will walk through people's backyards but most of them seem to retain some sense of skittishness, excluding on the sides of our highways. Many have been killed because they graze too close to the roads and show no fear of cars.

Yves Langlois

You really captured the tired mood. The patch of grass look very comfy.. Appreciate stump and branches all around. It complete well the overall picture.

Harold Fleming

The grass did look comfy, Yves. The look on his face made me tired enough to take a nap myself.

Debra Plett

I love this one Harold, you have captured him in a very relaxed mood.

Harold Fleming

Much thanks, Debra!

Description
A very tired looking buck couldn't be bothered if I was taking his photo or not. I think he just wanted some sleep so I took a photo and wished him well.
