Great shot capturing the transition of the seasons.

Thank you Clifford.

Debra Plett

Very nice shot Bernie, I too really like images of snow that has drifted creating neat shapes with hills and valleys. Great lighting.

Thank you Debra for your visit and comments -much appreciated.

Heather Mellon

Pretty awesome tones, lines and textures here. You've taken snow to another level with this beautiful capture Bernie.. it's so beautiful!

Bernie Ewing

Thank you Heather for your comments - I'm contemplating enlarging and hanging this one on a wall.

Harold Fleming

The lines made by the drifts, complimented by the light and shadows, cause the eye to go back and forth across the complete photo. Very nice, Bernie!

Thank you Harold for you comments and visit. I was glad to capture the scene before my 4-legged assistant made her own additions to it. Lol

Description
I have a 'thing' about wintery shots where the snow lies in gently curved drifts, pushed into smooth forms by the wind. I found this one and was surprised to see an emerging patch of wetness at the bottom of the drifts. Spring - the snow is showing signs of melting and a spring - a flow of water is also beginning to show.
