Wonderful image Yves and striking in its simplicity! Looks like he's getting ready to take a nap which suits the serene mood this image displays so beautifully..
Thank you Heather. Nice to see you back. This is the pose when they sleep. Yes the pure line of the opposing two curves link by the orange one leg pleases me. Look to me like modern art or an antique vase displayed in a museum.
Hi Yves, what a wonderful capture. I love the simplicity of this shot...two objects that appear to have a similar shape. One balancing on the other. A very calming image.
Hi Debra. Nice to have your comments. Well! For me, the main interest here is more as an artistic modern art photo than a shot at a mallard duck. I like what you say about the two curved objects balancing each other.
Great title for this capture. He really is shy... or has cold ears !! Love this shot Yves.
Thank you Jenny. Since I have not a great variety of birds around here, I try to compensate with a little creativity.
Great subject on a perfect background, Yves! I like the lightness and darkness which brings out the texture and yet the smoothness of the duck against the roughness of the stone.
Thank you for nice comments.Harold. I have shoot the mallards many time. It is the first time I can see the finely engraved white feathers of its body.
