Clifford Dupuis

looks like you captured the male as he was by to show you his mate. Great capture well done

Yves Langlois

Thank you Clifford. Exactly the feeling I had at the moment. They where about to pass by me, going upstream, not affraid and very close. I took few shots. Like that one because they both turn their head the same., giving the male strong and beautyful colours. Also, I was quite happy for that blue water (it is not always the case).

Harold Fleming

Great close-up, Yves! The male colours are very nice and the female has a glint in her eye.

Yves Langlois

Thank you Harold. Glad you see it too. That's why I took the shot. Both realy look in love. The smile, something in the eye...

Jenny Stevens

Lovely shot Yves. I am still waiting for my mallards ! I am so glad you can enjoy yours....

Yves Langlois

Thanks Jenny. I hope I will see your mallard pretty soon.

Debra Plett

Love the lighting Yves really brings out the colours in the male. Nicely captured.

Yves Langlois

Thank you Debra. Most likely my best shot at the mallard male so far. The couple was fearly close to me so I could have a good shot

That mallard male look real proud to paddle with the cutest lady in town. The satisfaction smile says it all. They are just friends but they are heading for a big party.
