Very nice capture Yves. The image does make one pause and reflect as commented by Bernie. Nicely seen and captured.

Thank you very much Debra. Everything around me has something to teach me. So I shoot almost everything. Every time I clik, for me it is always the best one ever. I present the ones that I find beautyful artisticaly and that relates me to a beautyful thoughts. The important for me is not to please to many but be loved by some.

I feel many others will like this shot too Yves. I do. Makes one pause and reflect - if different gulls can mingle harmoniously together, perhaps there is a lesson in there for ourselves. I had the opportunity to visit your gallery - the most recent 100 or so shots. Excellent work Yves. My two favorites are The Feather that lost contact with its life support - what a powerful and evocative metaphor that is. And the other is its neighbor - the Christmas tree kayak. Again - a strong, clean photo that carries a message for each viewer to find in his/her way. And thank you for all the comments and visits to my own efforts - I really do appreciate all of it. Thank you again.

Touched by your kind words. We seems to walk on the same trail of life. I mean the way you think and you see life. All that shows through every image that you present. It is not every photo I do that bring a deep thought but the one that does are my favorite too.

Description
Funny thing happened. The big black-backed gull appears quite sharp but the smaler ring-billed gulls in front are barely detailled. Like if they where painted with just one or two brush stroke. Kind of modern art. I was surprise but I do like it.
