Reincarnation

Description
Butterflies are viewed as mystical insects in some cultures — they embody souls of the dead or symbolize immortality. In one folk story, a pair of lovers were forcibly separated by the girl’s pre-arranged marriage. In despair, the man killed himself. Subsequently, the young woman jumped into the man’s tomb, which later broke open and out came two butterflies. When I saw a beautiful male monarch butterfly landing on the corpse of a rodent, this story came to mind. Is it reincarnation? Or, just the living feeds on the dead to carry on transitions in life?
