Very scenic landscape Yves, from sand to sea to sky. Great foreground texture and soft lighting, nicely captured. That could almost be Johnny sitting on the log.

Thank you Debra. You are so right. exactly what I like in that shot : the scenic, the perspective with the rough sand in the foreground going smooth to the background. Sun low in the morning create lots of light and shadows in the foreground sand. Johny would have enjoyed the trip for sure.

You've placed the viewer right there with you in this remarkable capture Yves. Beautiful comp and detail and I love the dreamy day kind of mood you've captured here.. Great shot!

Thank you so much Heather. I often try to express a mood or an idea through my photograph. So it is a real pleasure when somebody, like you, confirm to see it. For now the text help a lot, but I hope one day I will get rid of the text.

Description
Quiet morning on the St-Lawrence river shoreline. On a sandy beach, a wrecked stump, like a standing guardian for incoming ships. Scents of salted varech. Feeling the breeze. Feeling groovy. Taken last summer in Ste-Anne-des-Monts on my Gaspesiam trip.
