Description
A North American River Otter emerges from icy water onto the edge of a frozen lake with a crayfish in its jaws, a few more calories to help survival. These mammals are found in most provinces of Canada with the exception of PEI where they have been eradicated. Funny and exciting to watch , a privilege to photograph, this is the second sighting I've had of these in the last month and a half.
