Description
They brick factory at Claybank, SK operated from 1914 until the 1960s. Made from clay mined from the bright white Whitemud clay, the bricks were used in the launch pad at Cape Canaveral, in WWII battleships, in the Chateau Frontenac, and to face many prestigious buildings in Saskatchewan. Now, more than a hundred years later, the plant is quiet, remembering its glory days.
