Thanks Yves, it was a nice sunny day and the two deer were in a bit of clearing allowing the light to nicely fall on them. to be truthful I think the sun was warming them a bit.
Two good looking does, Debra. The snow helps to cast light onto them and the light shows the thick texture in the coats. They are certainly paying attention to you and gave you a nice pose. Very good photo.
