One of those images that I find peaceful. I can imagine myself watching the kayaker, breathing in the fresh air while having a cup of coffee. Nicely done Yves.

Thank you Debra. You just feel the same impression I had at the moment. Also I tought she was there for the dream of a medal and I was there for the dream of my best shot ever. I first wanted to present that one image. than I develop the idea of adding shots from competitions. I started writing the story when the final shot with the mallard ducks appear. Still I hesitate to prensent the story but I gess this morning I was in the mood to do so.

Description
On many mornings of the last summer I walked the Jacques-Cartier bridge to reach my favorite safary photo trail. There she was, training with her little kayak in lane 1. And she was not the only one. Top right of the picture shows a mallard duck training in lane 2.
