I like the purposeful walk and expression on her face, almost as though she's ready to run or stomp out a warning. Perfect timing on this great shot Debra.

Debra Plett

She actually took off across the road once she cleared the bush. I caught her just going into a run. thanks.

Like the compo. of the deer in the action of walking out of the forest. Lighting suggest it's cloudy but you got it luminous still. Thanks to those birch tree that put a little joy in the grey tones of some

Debra Plett

Thanks Yves. Yes it has been very cloudy for the last couple of weeks. Cooler temps with wet snow. It can be a challenge to get colour into a picture now that the leaves have all fallen especially with no sun. I still enjoy the walk and nature.

Jeff

good pose of her

Debra Plett

Thank you Jeff.

Harold Fleming

Nice pose on this one, Debra. Well timed. Our blacktails don't come out too often in the daytime this time of year but put down lots of track overnight.

Debra Plett

Thanks Harold, usually won’t see too many deer after 9 am and not before 5 pm. a little more active now with the cold weather and the rut.

Description
The cooler temperatures seems to have the White-tailed deer coming out of the bush more. I have spotted from a distance a large Buck that could have this Doe on the move as well.
