Description
When I step off the plane in Whitehorse, my brain relaxes. I feel at home. The scenery of mountains and trees is similar to western Alberta, but the Yukon light seems brighter, sharpening visual acuity. CoVid19 policies restrict travel, denying my pilgrimage to my aunt's home in the land of the midnight sun; instead I flip through old photos from 13 past visits, since 2013. While I've been in all season's, autumn is my favorite with crisp air and Northern light displays. Maybe next year.
