Beautiful sunset, perfectly captured! It's an interesting image with more detail than the average sunset capture and an interesting narrative. Great shot, Yves!

Thanks Header. This is a good exemple of the choice we have to do as photograph. Bacause the image is related to a story I had to frame the peer big enough to show people on it. Doing so it left very little of the great orange sunrise. Of course, I did many shots, so at home I have one that show the hole sunrise... and a peer barely visible. But the difficult choice is still there. Do I present a beautifull sunrise or a story about peers?

Thanks Debra. With the sun in front like that I was glad not to have reflection problems. I waited for the right moment where the sun was still brith but dimer enough to avoid problems. I gess my patience payed.

Wonderful image Yves, this moody sunset helps to add mystery to the narrative. Nice amount of clouds help to disperse the beautiful colours. Well done.

Description
Taken in Sainte-Flavie on the St-Lawrence river. I took the opportunity of the sunset to focus on the rocky peer in the water. From passed trips to the river shores I know that tourists must not stay on those peer after sunset. As shown on the image, local people sets in for nights fishing parties. Where fishing is a cover-up for a lot of things that I am not gona comment here.
