Looking at the thumbnail or the next size photo does not do these birds justice but the large photo is wonderful.
Hi Debra. As usual, with the focus your a pro. So sharp that I could enlarge it as needed to find the chicks in the nest (with the new function) and it stays sharp. That proud mother, posing with its two wing sticken to the body always put a smile on my face. It is more than a shot... it is an assigment, a follow up on that family with a good narative. I give myself assignment like that on certain subject. I like the chalenge it brings.
Thank you very much Yves, I always appreciate your feedback. Hopefully all 3 chicks survive. I was there this morning and the mom was feeding the chicks again. There were pretty low in the nest as it was a very windy day today. Did not get any pictures of the nest today.
Thanks Clifford. I will keep tabs on the nest and hopefully post more as the chicks fledge the nest and then just before they leave to go south.
Excellent shot.. I see all three of the chicks which is a tribute to the clarity and excellent focus you got on this one! Daddy Osprey is going to be busy keeping all those little guys fed. You did a terrific job getting this photo and it's exciting to know how many young they actually have.
