Description
It started to rain June 29, 2020. I was looking overhead to spot a red tail hawk. I looked down and say this sandpiper getting upset. I looked again and saw a baby bird scurry under the grass as it was almost under my feet. Got pretty close to this male. The male looks after the clutch as the female leaves to find a new mate and have up to 3 more clutches and possibly lays 20 eggs.
