Description
Ollie the Sea Otter is one the only resident Otters to return to the Salish Sea after extensive hunting led to their extirpation in the 19th century. He has occupied the Race Rocks marine protected area since 2015, and his presence has led to an increased production of Bull Kelp forests by managing the local sea urchin populations.
