Description
This ruddy duck was photographed on St. Anne's pond, north of Vernon BC, alongside Highway #97. As part of the courtship ritual these blue billed little ducks head bob and hit there beaks avians their chests , producing bubbles. Apparentl they finish off with a romantic belch, but since I missed the burping I will have to return.
