Would have been difficult to spot him as well as get the shot with all the reeds and bushes surrounding him. He stands out nicely from the background Yves.

Yes. Without the toc-toc-toc on the tree trunk I first heard, I would not have noticed the bird at all. I pictured that bird before, but never so near and with so beautifull colors, because of the sunray on the head. It made my day.

Description
I was full excited. Normaly that bird is high on a tree trunk. That one was on the ground, few feets away. He was walking a fallen tree for food, but of course, there was bushes between us. I never got a chance for a clean view. So this is it. A bit funny but original
