Beauty capture Debra :) I have 4 very tired Red Winged females feeding their babies in our pond now too, lots of action. I have the highest respect for them after seeing how they tirelessly keep finding food and feeding.

Thank you Virginia. They are great birds to watch.

Well done Debra. I do feel the solitary morning. The soft blue make the trick. That bird is one of my favorite one. She is kind of a model for the photographer in me.

Thanks Yves, yes the red-winged blackbird bird seems to be almost everywhere. I didn’t realize the female looked much like a sparrow until recently. Even though she is quite small in the frame I really felt the peace within this whole image.

Jeff

Debra Plett

Thank you Jeff.
