Description
Canadian goose parents defending their gosling. This is a scene I often see in areas with high populations of geese. As some parents are unsuccessful or can't find a mate, the urge to parent takes over and they attempt to take babies from others. Often these fights end in the death of the gosling as its a flurry of strong wings and bodies. In this case the mother was successful in defending her gosling and it lived to see another day.
