super shot Debra. The colors of the background very well match the colors of the little bird. Is your 70-400mm SSM serie G a new lens or if you had it last year??? It is the one I use actualy.

Hi Yves, thanks again for the feedback. I had bought the 70-400 January 2019. It is an Alfa mount lens. My old camera is an Alfa mount. Last summer I bought the Sony a7r3 with the adaptor so I can use my Alfa lenses. I actually really like the lens.

Description
A little chipping sparrow is considering building a nest in my Purple Martin house. The sparrows and martins will aggressively debate who is going to take which apartment. Last year a hawk was nesting in the area and did fly overs every day. It didn't take long before the sparrows and the martins evacuated the house. Keeping my fingers crossed that the hawk doesn't nest in this area this year.
