Nice shot and great eye contact with the Osprey as she is leaving the nest!

Thanks Nicole.

Hey Debra! the shot is good as usual but I love the description you have made. I aggree with you, there is often just a little something we like to change in a photo. This is the imperfection that make it one of a kind. keep shooting.

Thank you very much Yves, comments are always appreciated. I find these birds so interesting and really look forward to following the nest activity throughout the summer. Hopefully there is enough fish in the area to sustain the nest.

Description
When I arrived at the nest the female Osprey was in the nest and the male was sitting on a hydro pole across the road. I was in the process of attaching the camera to the tripod when the male Osprey decided to fly back to the nest. I rushed to get some sort of focus on the nest. At this time of year usually the male and female are actively mating to my surprise the male took the lower position in the nest and the female fixed her eyes on me and did a fly over giving me a warning. I am pretty sure that I was deemed a non threat as she returned to the nest and did not make any chirping noise. I believe she is sitting on one or two eggs at this time as she seemed to be rearranging something in the bottom of the nest. The male Osprey then took his spot sitting on the outer rim of the nest. I always stay well back from the nest and only stay a few minutes. I was a little disappointed that the male is hidden in behind a large twig, but still lucky that I got the female in good focus.
