Description
There's no better feeling showing up to the pond or the lake early and watching everything fall into place. On this morning the lake was full of birds and as the light hit the trees and grass it produced some of the most amazing fall colours I have ever seen. Here I managed to capture this American Wigeon during a wing flap. I have a few images from this, but I like how this one has a bit of a different pose. It's as if he is shrugging the morning off and saying, "awe this is nothing, you should have seen the colours yesterday!"
