Description
Soup Harbour is partially located at Point Petre Wildlife Conservation area in Prince Edward County. The name Soup Harbour derives from an event which saw a cargo ship in the 1800's run aground outside of the small bay spilling a shipment of split peas. The peas floating on the surface of the bay reminded the witty locals of pea soup, and the name stuck. In this shot the last light of the day shows waves crashing over an unusual limestone outcropping just before the shore.
