Ha ha...no I mean another shot you took of a GGO, and you wondered why the branches were sawed off.

Thanks Sticks! That tree was dead and there wasn't much below either. I can only assume that the combination of rot, winds, and wild creatures as it breaks down over time.

Description
I have taken many pics of Great Gray Owls since my first encounter with them in Jan 2014. While there are some action shots, and snow sots and vole shots, this simple perch and pose on a dead tree is one of my all-time favorites. It reminds me every day of how fortunate we are to have these beautiful birds, and how much I enjoying seeing and watching them in their natural habitat.
