I began photographing in the late 60's, first with an 8x10 view camera, switching to medium format, and ultimately to the 35mm system. Current equipment includes the Nikon D4, with a wide range of prime lenses from the 600mm to the 12mm. Subjects in order of choice are birds, landscapes, creative and portrait. For the past 50 years, I have been actively involved in all aspects of this medium including commercial product photography, aerial, and weddings, have competed extensively in national and international salons, lectured to various camera clubs, judged locally and internationally, and have been widely published. The love of photography has ultimately led me to a career in art.
