Too cute! :)
Great that your putting it out there! I have heard that Canada is not equipped to deal with Lyme's disease and it is on the uprise. I had lymes from a dog tick in Southern Africa at the age of 12, was nasty. I got it from my puppy and was under my knee cap. I didn't know at first what it was, but after pulling it off, I soon realized that it was a red(female) dog tick and threw it. As kids we used to pull them off the cats and dogs with our finger and then stomp on them. There were alot of ticks on the animals there, I have never seen one on a dog in Canada. I did some reading on the ticks in Canada and from what I understood there are deer ticks and dog ticks. Apparently deer ticks carry Rocky Mountain Fever and dog ticks carry Lymes. I was just wondering if you knew anything about the differences? Is Rocky Mountain Fever a type of lymes bacterium?
