Realme 9 Review - Mid-Range Smartphone

If you are looking for the latest and greatest in mobile technology, you have come to the right place. Realme is set to release its new 9 series of products in India on February 16. The first phone to be released will be the Realme 9 and the Pro Plus. Each of these phones will offer a different level of performance and price.

The Realme 9 is a mid-range device that packs plenty of features. It comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels (FHD+) resolution. This high-resolution display is also highly customizable. You can adjust the screen's brightness, color temperature, and aspect ratio to your liking. Moreover, the Super AMOLED screen offers an always-on display option.

On the inside, the Realme 9 boasts a powerful MediaTek Helio G95 processor. Not only is it more powerful than the Snapdragon 820 inside the Realme 8, it also packs more power. In addition, the chipset has an octa-core configuration that is able to handle various tasks with ease. Also, the Realme 9 is bundled with an Qualcomm Adreno 610 GPU. Additionally, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The Realme 9 offers an array of sensors, including an on-screen fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack. For those who are worried about safety, you will be glad to know that the phone supports Face ID and Touch ID. Besides, it is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging. Furthermore, it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1.

While the Realme 9 might not be the phone for you, if you are looking for a great display, a superior camera, and a fast charge, it could be the phone for you. However, if you are interested in gaming, the Poco X4 5G might be better suited for you.

The Realme 9 also sports an 8-megapixel front camera, which is an upgrade from the Realme 8's 5-megapixel sensor. There is also a secondary 16-megapixel camera on the back. Both cameras have f/2.0 apertures. At the same time, the phone's front panel has a punch-hole design and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The Realme 9 also comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging. The phone charges 50% in just 31 minutes and it can fully recharge in 75 minutes. Even so, it does not support wireless charging.

Overall, the Realme 9 is a good choice for those looking for a high-resolution display and a quad rear camera. Unfortunately, it does not have a 120Hz refresh rate or a 4k video recording capability. That said, you can still enjoy videos and photos with ease.

Although the Realme 9 is not the most feature-rich phone around, it does have excellent battery life. And, if you want to stay on the cutting edge, you will definitely be able to with the phone's Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0 operating system. Likewise, it has a dual-SIM slot, a dedicated card slot, and a USB Type C port.
