Setting up a black light after dark to attract insects is always interesting. Moths, beetles, katydids, leafhoppers and such may make an appearance. This critter is an Acorn Weevil, with its long 'snout' adapted to penetrate acorns and other things.

Wow!! That is quite the 'snout' on that weevil!! Have never actually seen one that big!
