I'll sing my song for you today

by hmellon on 30 Jul 2017

A Yellow Warbler pauses for a song in its search for food. This bird looks like a female to me and I was surprised to hear it sing so I checked to see if in fact they do sing and from what I've learned female yellow warblers are among the few female songbirds who do. It is believed they are communicating with other females.
