A Red-tailed Hawk chick flexing it's wings while it's Bald Eaglet 'brother' watches. Many of you have probably already heard about the rare occurrence of Bald Eagles raising a Red-tailed hawk chick along with three of their own eaglets. An article I wrote about this story, augmented by my pictures has been published on the 'BirdWatching' magazine's website. If you wish, you can view it at the following link: I must admit to not having the time this month to check up on the nest site as I would have liked to. The latest I heard however, was two weeks ago, the hawk got into some kind of trouble, and one of the eaglets came to help. I'll let you know more if I hear more...
