This little juvenile Saw-Whet Owl was unable to fly when it was rescued from a road where Ravens were threatening it and is now in the care of a veterinarian who volunteers his expertise to bring injured birds back to health again. This little guy had an injured wing and claw and will be released back to the wild later in the summer.

Lucky little thing - so glad it was rescued. Excellent idea to share its "portrait". Beautiful also.
