Reaching for the Sun

About 50 km north of Churchill, Manitoba is a wonderful lodge and you actually walk with the bears. As we are 18 in a tight group, the bears show little interest even though they are very hungry. The polar bears gather on the shores of Hudson Bay waiting for it to freeze so they can catch their main staple - seal. Interesting polar bear facts: The polar bear survive the cold is the size of its ears ... And, its neck is longer, which helps keep the polar bear's head above water.
