Vermilion Flycatcher in winter

by Allen_Woodliffe from Chatham CA on 04 Mar 2016

In early winter, this Vermilion Flycatcher showed up in southwestern Ontario, just north of Wallaceburg. It stuck around for the annual Christmas Bird Count, a first for Canada. Normally this critter is a denizen of extreme southern Arizona and Texas.
