I was sitting in my pickup, across a pond and downhill from a grizzly bear. She looked around and was aware of my presence and then surprised me by walking down the hill and around the pond towards me. As she walked on by, I was able to take a few photos and then... just like that... she was gone.

Checking out your bear shots, good stuff, will be doing Grizzly's later this month in Bute Inlet, hope to get some on the river fishing for spawning salmon.
