Description
Located at the mouth of the Thames River, this site is home to one of the first lighthouse's ever built in Ont, (tho the year is unknown). The original was destroyed by fire and the foundation was used to build a new one in 1818. After alot of years, and neglect, it began to crack and lean. In 1973, it was dismantled by hand, the foundation was fixed and the lighthouse was rebuilt. I made the most of the beautiful day and went boating on Lake St Clair. This photo was taken on our way back home.
